Galley Club Awards for Excellence 2007!
The McPherson's Printing Group Galley Club Awards for Excellence were held on Friday, 15th June at the Amora Jamison, Sydney.

It is an industry event for publishers and printers throughout Australia and Asia.

Southwood Press submitted the "Christian Heritage of Jaffna Sri Lanka", a book I designed for editor Samuel Arnold and it won in the Category for Non-standard - Mono/duotone digitally printed book.

Thanks to Southwood Press for submitting the book to the competition that made all of us thrilled and a winner! It's wonderful to see that our solution made a difference.

All those late nights and hard work have been paid of as it was the period when I was about to leave Australia for America. It was an extremely busy time, considering we had a launching date for the book with editing that keeps on coming, packing and selling my household stuff, my car, coordinating engagement, farewell parties, taking sis around while holidaying in Sydney, ironing things out before the big move, organising the wedding and saying goodbye to my lovely friends. Despite of the busyness everything that needed to get done then was ticked-off the list.

We are in rejoicing mode now. So, Yey to everyone!! TYJ!
